Highlights from the Daily Mail Trophy match between Warwick School and Whitgift.
Both sides have had impressive starts to the season and are among the early front runners for the title. Since the Trophy launched, the schools have met 4 times, with each side posting 2 wins. There is normally less than a converted tries difference between the two on the final scoreboard. This season both sides have started very well. Whilst Whitgift lost narrowly at home to Sedbergh in their first game this year, since then they have beaten 2014 and 2015 champions Wellington College and posted an impressive win over Skinners. Warwick have made a very impressive start, beating last year’s Natwest Cup champions Bromsgrove at home, before a narrow win in a thriller against Stowe School. Both schools will be hoping to challenge for the Trophy this season.
