We are delighted to announce our new Mobile Competition Microsite in time for the 2013 Rosslyn Park HSBC National School Sevens, which gets underway on Monday 18th March. Simply follow the link below and if you are using a tablet or mobile phone the Mobile Competition Microsite will launch. The Microsite will update Live as the competition progresses.
Everyone can then follow the competition in a variety of ways: You can Follow Your Team and track their progress. This will also provide you with their playing schedule, plus the pitch location of all of their fixtures. Scores and group standings will be updated in real time (or as close to it as possible) so you can keep your finger on the pulse of the competition. This is also a good way of following your opponents too! You can Select a Pitch, so if you are a spectator you can quickly see which team is playing on which pitch or which team is playing on the pitch you are spectating at next. You can Follow a Group to see what’s happening as the group evolves through each round. You can see also what’s happening at any given time at a glance. Simply select the follow by time option. With this you could, for example, select 10.40 and then display all the fixtures happening then. By selecting the match you want you can also use the pitch map to navigate to the correct pitch! It’s simple and easy too and it gives you another great way of keeping an eye on your opponents!
There are also several alternatives to follow the competition on the day:
1. We will be posting results live on www.SchoolsRugby.co.uk as we get them through the week. You can therefore watch the results ticker on the home page, or you can read the latest news or navigate to Find Your School and team as usual
2. If you follow @schoolssports on Twitter we will be tweeting every result. Each Tweet will have a link to the Competition Microsite. If you are tweeting then please use hashtag #RPNS7. Feel free also to Tweet photos and your comments as we go!
3. Navigate to your sports website, select Competitions and events in the main menu and then click on the Rossyln Park HSBC National Schools Sevens logo. If you are on a mobile device you will be redirected to the mobile competition microsite. You can also download and synchronize your team’s fixture list to your mobile Calendar from your sports website and follow them that way.
Please note: If you are at any competition where there is a Competition Microsite provided by SchoolsSports.com then our Mobile Competition Microsite is your perfect travelling companion. If the Mobile Competition Microsite has been activated for your competition and you are using a mobile device then when you click through to the usual Competition Microsite you will be re-directed automatically to the Mobile Competition Microsite.
